ESC 2023 — We are joined onsite by Dr Duk-Woo Park and Dr Do-Yoon Kang (Asan Medical Center, Seoul, KR) to discuss the findings from the OCTIVUS study (NCT03394079). The OCTIVUS study (Seung-Jung Park, CardioVascular Research Foundation, Korea) aims to compare the clinical safety and efficacy of optimal coherence tomography (OCT) guided and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) guided strategies in… View more

Clinical data shows that routine use of intravascular imaging improves clinical outcomes of patients undergoing PCI. It delivers critical anatomical information pre-and post-stenting. Thereby, HD-IVUS enables “high-precision” interventional therapy. especially for complex PCI procedural guidance. View more

Clinical data shows that routine use of intravascular imaging improves clinical outcomes of patients undergoing PCI. It delivers critical anatomical information pre and post-stenting. Thereby, HD-IVUS enables “high-precision” interventional therapy. Intravascular imaging should become the standard of care, not just for complex PCI procedural guidance. View more

ESC 2023 — Dr Gregg Stone (Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, US) shares the findings from a real-time updated network meta-analysis comparing OCT, IVUS and Angiography guidance in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures. The OCTOBER and ILUMIEN IV randomised trials both studied OCT-guided versus angiography-guided PCI. This analysis compared the overall effects of… View more
