A comprehensive understanding of the scope and nuances of interventional treatments is important in optimising patient outcomes. 

This special collection endeavours to analyse the multifaceted domain of acute PE management and interventional strategies. At its core lies the exploration of various interventional modalities. Through a synthesis of evidence-based research and clinical insights, we aim to elucidate the efficacy, safety profiles, and comparative advantages of these interventions.
