CRT 23 - In this short interview, we are joined by Dr Jose De La Torre Hernandez (Hospital Universitario Marques de Valdecilla, ES) to provide an update on the OPTIMAL Randomized Controlled Trial, sponsored by the European Cardiovascular Institute. In this ongoing study, 800 patients will be randomized to receive either intravascular ultrasound-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or qualitative angiography-guided PCI for the treatment of left main coronary stenosis.
